A pair of parallel conducting rails lie at right angles to a uniform magnetic field. A two resistors span these rails and are free to slide along them. The question is if one of the resisters moves at a constant speed away from the other, how will the other one move

OpenStudy (anonymous):

My thoughts are that both resistors will have the same final speed as the system tries to keep magnetic flux through the loop constant... But I'm not too sure

OpenStudy (vincent-lyon.fr):

Correct.
