What forms of protest did the colonists use to oppose British policies? Nonviolent resistance Rallies, pamphlets, and letter-writing Direct attacks on British soldiers and sympathizers According toPaine, why was independence “common sense”? It is only natural for a colony to break away from its governing country. Governments found colonies with the intention of making them independent. It was the only rational course of action against an oppressive monarchy.
Well I know that the Colonist did a lot of boycotting around those times
So i'm gonna say Rallies, pamphlets, and letter-writing
For the second, using process of elimination, I would say it's the third option. Do the first two options make sense? Why would you found a colony only to make it independent? Countries benefit economically by owning a colony. IS it natural for a colony to break away? Thomas Paine said it was natural because the colonies were so large and so far away, but A is too general. So I would say C.
Thank you both so much, wish I could give 2 medals.
