HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! @paki What is the approximate perimeter of the figure? A. 7.85 in. B. 12.9 in. C. 17.9 in. D. 31.4 in.
figure...?
first find the length of the arc... length= (n degrees/360) * 2 * pie * r length = (90/360) * 2 * 3.14 * 5 length= 0.25 * 31.4 length= 7.85.... now find the perimeter... which is R+R+arc length = 5+5+7.85 = 17.85 inches... @lovablenene
THANKS SO MUCH I UNDRSTAND NOW :)
ahhh good... pleasure... :-)
Also Can You Help Me On This ONE ?? A plate has a diameter of 14 inches. What is the approximate circumference of the plate? A. 21.98 in. B. 43.96 in. C. 87.92 in. D. 153.86 in.
ahh... just use the formula... C = 2pi r... ok... now we have given the diameter... which is 14 here... we will need the radius... radius= diameter/2 = 14/2= 7... put this in the formula... C=2 * 3.14 * 7= 43.96inches... @lovablenene
THANKS
pleasure :-)
@paki, please take care not to do others' work for them; help them to find their own answers by providing examples, asking questions, showing examples, and so on. thank you.
