If it is true that humans came from gorillas and chimpanzees,then from where did the gorillas and chimpanzees come?

Then why are there still gorillas and chimpanzees if we evolved from them? Are those gorillas or chimpanzees some type of special gorillas or chimpanzees? Why haven't they evolved yet? They aren't going to evolve into humans because we did not come from animals. If you believe in god he is the one who created all humans and animals. Lol sorry not trying to be rude but I hate the fact that they teach this in school it makes no sense at all and it is totally incorrect

sunshao1 is pretty much correct. No, humans did not come from chimps or gorillas, they are just very close relatives of ours. The evolutionary path that led to humans diverged from the evolutionary path that led to chimps and gorillas. Our ancestors no longer exist because the evolved into humans.

@AnnieDJ204 you are misinterpreting evolutionary theory, which does not state that humans evolved from chimps or gorillas. Anyway, it is impossible to prove (100% prove) god and evolution. I think this is a waste of time really. Believe in your god or do not, it is called faith for a reason; stop worrying about proving anything and just have your faith or don't.

Well human didn't directly decent from chimpanzees lol,if that were true chimpanzees would not exist today,Ya see all ape(including humans)share a common ancestor,To make this easier to understand let me put it like this,Imagine your parents as that common ancestor,you & your siblings(if you have any) are monkeys&humans,you all came from your parents but you all are similar but not the same&did not originate from each other but rather your common ancestor(your parents) I hope that helped ya

well nno one really knows for sure there are missing links in the evolution.. like the skelatins thats show the change there is not one showing the young homosapians evolution to humans
