MEDAL FOR ANSWER! PLEASE, I'M DESPERATE! The lengths of two sides of a triangle are shown below: Side 1: 3x2 - 4x - 1 Side 2: 4x - x2 + 5 The perimeter of the triangle is 5x3 - 2x2 + 3x - 8. Part A: What is the total length of the two sides, 1 and 2, of the triangle? (4 points) Part B: What is the length of the third side of the triangle? (4 points) Part C: Do the answers for Part A and Part B show that the polynomials are closed under addition and subtraction? Justify your answer. (2 points)
I DON'T NEED HELP, I NEED ANSWERS. MY ENTIRE EDUCATION DEPENDS ON CATCHING UP.
Please, I'm begging.
this is adding like terms 3x2 - 4x - 1 -x2 +4x + 5 ------------------ 2x^2 +4 Length of third side is found by subtracting this from perimeter
Dumbcow, I think I llove you. Now could you tell me HOW to subtract it from the perimeter?
@dumbcow help me again, and I will fly out to wherever you live and be your lawfully wedded wife.
lol :)
5x3 - 2x2 + 3x - 8 -(2x2 +4) -------------------- 5x^3 -4x^2 +3x -12
@dumbcow You're a lifesaver. I'm about to cry because I don't understand and you're helping me. Do you mind if I call on you on a few more questions? Ill close this one and you get best response.
