Hi! Could you help me with prime numbers : why are 2 and 5 so special?

Two is the only even prime number. Five is the only multiple of 5 that is a prime number.

Every prime number p is the only multiple of p that is prime. So 5 is not special in this regard.

You can say that if a number has in its prime factorization 2 and 5, then this number must end up with a zero
