Elda has a rectangular piece of paper with an area of 0.12 m.She cuts this piece of paper into small rectangles each with an area of 200 cm.What is the maximum number of these small rectangles that Elda can cut : 6 , 12, 24 or 60. Please let me know which is right? Thanks.

first make sure to have both in cm^2 instead of m^2.

to go from m^2 to cm^2 you multiply by 100^2 (because from m to cm you multiply by 100, but because it's m^2 you do 100^2.

100^2 is 10000 so you multiply 0.12 by 10000 which is 1200, so you have a rectangle of 1200 cm^2.

how many rectangles of 200 cm^2 can you cut from a rectangle of 1200 cm^2?
