I believe the United States could justify war against Mexico because I really POed them with that Black Flag at the Alamo.
Second reason: the 'Manifest Destiny', by jingo, wanted to smooth out the border and not leave southern California hanging....

So like this: The United States should have gone to war with Mexico because if we did not the United States would not have a lot of the land we do now, like California and Texas! And without California, there would be no Disney Land! Another reason is that with all of this new land, It gave slaves and colored people to go some were free.
