Linear Algebra

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it says the eigenvector is wrong, any reason why?

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

you need to make them unit vectors, so divide each vector v by \(||v||\)

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

so \((3,1)\) becomes \((\frac{3}{\sqrt{3^2+1^2}},\frac{1}{\sqrt{3^2+1^2}})=(\frac{3}{\sqrt{10}},\frac{1}{\sqrt{10}})\)

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

understand @danvids ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ooh, okay, thanks, can you help with another, we didn't talk about it in class, so i am lost on it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

I dont know what that is but im sure its not hard, just google it .

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

square root the non 0 Eigen values.

OpenStudy (anonymous):
