1) c = 30x+100
2) c = 25x+150

You are looking for the point where the c for option 2 is less.  Graph both

30m + 100 > 25m + 150 ....now we will sub in m = 11 to see if D is correct
30(11) + 100 > 25(11) + 150
330 + 100 > 275 + 150
430 > 425
