Whats up?

OpenStudy (i_love_my_nieces):

Megan's resting heart rate (RHR) is 90 beats per minute. She know's that a lower rate of RHR is a sign of a healthier cardiovascular system. Her goal is to have a RHR of 72 beats per minute. Megan would need to improve her present resting heart rate by what percentage to achieve her goal? 10% 15% 20% 25%

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Owe. I really don't know this one. Try google! :3

undeadknight26 (undeadknight26):

well...all you need to do here is take your original number: 90 and multiply it by the percentage... such as...lets try 20% 90 x .20 = 18 90 - 18 = 72 aka your answer :)

OpenStudy (i_love_my_nieces):

Thank's Undead..

undeadknight26 (undeadknight26):

any time miss nieces.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Instead of guessing which percent to use, use a variable like x. 90x = 72 x = 72/90 x = 0.8 That means that 72 is 80% of 90 and a 20% reduction

OpenStudy (i_love_my_nieces):

@cleats so 20%

OpenStudy (anonymous):

100-80=20, yeah

OpenStudy (i_love_my_nieces):

Okay thank you
