Well the amplitude is from the highest point to the lowest point. The highest is 4.5 and the lowest is -4.5. So the amplitude is 9. As for the period, a period is how long (or how far) it takes for it to complete a single "cycle" to put it simply. For example, in your problem it goes from 0,0 to .05,0 to start over again.
