The technique the author used was "In Medias Res"

This is what I got:
"The special technique the author has used is “In Medias Res” where the author illustrates the conflict or event in the middle of the story. The example in this passage explains how Katniss is running as fast as she can to grab the precious supply bag of life! By including “In Medias Res” it gives readers a bit of suspense and action running through their mind. It gives them something realistic and gives them excitement. "
