Hai Sweet Friend, @campbellt1 WeLcoMe to OpeN stuDy.. !! Villi are finger like projections in the small intestine increase surface area for efficient absorption of nutrients. Also, Intestinal villi produce bile. This is why it's important to have many villi in the intestine.
