What division of the human nervous system is responsible for maintaining body temperature?

OpenStudy (koikkara):

@Alfred565 Hai Sweet Friend, WeLcoMe to OpeN stuDy.. !! In nervous System, The Hyperthalamus controls body temperature, thirst, fatigue etc. According to my view, In humans when the blood temperature is above average, receptors detect the heat. Nerve impulses pass information to the hyperthalmus (in the brain). The hyperthalmus activates effectors (eg, blood vessels , sweat glands, endocrine glands and skeletal muscles), thus lowering the temperature. Also, Thermoreceptors- respond to alterations in temperature Wondering If you are satisfied with this answer, Please close this Question. Thank You ! Keep in touch with Open Study.. Bye !
