how do I solve log 8 ^(x+5)- log8^(x-2)+=1

@nicole19: Of what base are these logs? are they common logs (log ), or are they logs to the base 8? or what. Could you possibly present your log expression using Equation Editor for greater clarity?

The bases are 8, they are common logs. I tried to present my log expression using it but it did not allow me to show it as thoroughly as I had wanted it.
