Solve this quadratic equation. x 2 + 5x + 3 = 0

OpenStudy (mathmale):

\[x ^2+5x+3\]is not a very 'nice' polynomial in terms of being factorable! You could try factoring, but you'd probably settle on using the quadratic formula. Please identify the coefficients a, b and c in this polynomial, and then substitute them into the quadratic formula.

\[-5\pm \sqrt{37}/2\] \[x=-5-\sqrt{37}/2\] \[x=-5+\sqrt{37}/2\]

x=-5.54 x=0.54
