Naturally occurring events cause rocks to break down and be deposited down-slope, sometimes as far away as the ocean. Given this circumstance, is right or wrong for a government to mandate laws that reduce silt from waterways and require farmers to reduce soil erosion? Why?

i believe it is wrong because, by reducing silt from waterways, you may be taking away a food source from a fish that has adapted to meet that certain enviroment.It also serves as a good mating ground, because they can hide their eggs. I also dont believe that farmers should have to reduce soil erosion because the nutrients from the decaying soil will help the new plants or soil because they will absorb the dying soil's nutrients. It help  the new plantlife  grow.
