Identify four-steps to solving a linear system in three variables. Do these steps have to be done in a certain order? Are there any steps that could be skipped? Explain why or why not.

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

I suppose one step would be to use elimination and to eliminate a variable out to solve for the other variables. You have a choice of which variable to eliminate and what to multiply the equation by to make elimination possible. Is that what you mean ?

I am not sure. I just started this class today and i am literally algebra illiterate lol I have tried looking on the campus library and resources and linear questions arent even on there. This is the last question i have to answer for my DQ's UGH lol. I will try what you mentioned and I will let you know :) Thank you very much!
