to answer How might this affect the quality of water that drains into the Gulf of Mexico? (4 points) read the Introduction at the very top. It says Nitrate along with other nutrients has been implicated as a possible cause of oxygen depletion (hypoxia) low oxygen in the Gulf hurts the sea-life.
