@TheOcean

OpenStudy (a1234):

What do you think?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

c

OpenStudy (a1234):

No! We've all undergone changes. In fact, the changes part is the focus of Darwin's theory.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

soooooooo ummmmmm its D

OpenStudy (a1234):

That's true, but that wasn't completely Darwin's idea.

OpenStudy (a1234):

It's not D.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so i thing if its not C or D then i think it is A

OpenStudy (a1234):

You're either guessing or you haven't read your textbook.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no im not cuz at first i put D but then i had to switch cuz it was messing up but im just puting A cuz i did read it

OpenStudy (a1234):

Wasn't natural selection Darwin's focus? The changes acquired during a lifetime choice was Lamarck's idea, not Darwin's.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think it was

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Why did scientists reject Lamarck’s idea of evolution? A. Organisms have not changed during earth’s history. B. Organisms cannot change their characteristics during their lifetime. C. Traits acquired during a lifetime are not passed on to offspring. D. Traits acquired during a lifetime are of no use to an individual.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so then this one would be B

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@micahm

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@TheOcean

OpenStudy (a1234):

Not exactly. I can change my characteristics in my lifetime. For example, I can change my hair color or in some ways my skin. But, I can't pass it on to my offspring.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ohhhh okay so its D becouse i no what you mean cuz two days ago i died my hair so its D right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

C i mean

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@ElvenBlackout

OpenStudy (a1234):

It's C. It can be of use, for some reason or the other.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah okay cuz i meant to say C but then i put D and then i over looked it and then im like ohhhh okay so yeah thanks

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What is the process in which individuals with useful traits are more likely to survive and produce more offspring with those useful traits? A. use and disuse B. acquired characteristics C. natural selection D. radiometric dating

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Mchilds15 @TheOcean @ElvenBlackout HELP PLEASE

OpenStudy (a1234):

Isn't the answer clear from previous two questions?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

C

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (a1234):

Yes.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yay! okay thanks

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yup. C. need any other help? srry i was ofline

OpenStudy (anonymous):
