Solve, show all work. |2x + 2| = 4 |4x - 3| = 5 |2x + 3| = 3 |6x + 2| = 3 5. |2x - 2| = 6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do anybody know how to do these problems

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so for the first, you would do 2x +2 = 4 minus 2 from each side to get 2x=2 then divide by 2 on each side getting x=1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do that scenario for every problem

OpenStudy (anonymous):

does this help?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

|4x - 3| = 5 x=2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is it right???

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes, so do the same thing with all of them
