Hmm...well we know that if a^2 + b^2 is less than c^2 ...we dont have a right triangle...it would be an acute triangle actually If it is NOT a right triangle we can not use the standard cos, sin, tan functions to solve for angles or anything like that to classify the triangle.. We can only used the law of cosines to solve for the triangles information... So actually "a^2 + b^2 - c^2 = 2abcostheta" and "Triangle is not a right triangle" are both correct statements
