@tanya123 the synapsids are the the group of reptiles that are more mammal like. There are several characteristics and you can check out wikipedia for those. Now the synapsids, the therapsids are the group of synapsids considered to be the closest to mammals. Their legs were more vertically aligned with their body. Think of a lizard and how their legs go out and them down while our legs simply go straight down.
