R1=1.5k ohms to current

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You need to know voltage

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I = V/R

OpenStudy (anonymous):

V = IR

OpenStudy (anonymous):

R = V/I

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what if the it tells you to solve for the unknown?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

State the problem

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Its a chart with a diagram of a conductor board with 3 resistors and its asking for the current, voltage, and power of 1.5k ohms

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Can you post a picture of the problem?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I mean, you need to have a way to find out what voltage is to find current. Current will change with a fixed resistance of 1.5k Ohms depending on the voltage.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

alright thanks.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

But perhaps with your picture, you can use circuit analysis to figure something out. I'll need to see the picture.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I gotta go, but I'll check back later and respond if nobody else has.
