suppose that the population of a certain town, in thousands, was 105 in 1990 and 141 in 2002. Assume that the population growth can be approximated by a straight line. Find the equation of a line which will estimate the population of the town, in thousands in a given year 1990.

the equation we want in the end will start with the form of y = mx + b lets have the population be on the y axis and year be on the x axis. we are given two points (1990, 105) (2002, 141) can you find the slope, m, between these two points?
