The x value should be this _______ because it was easily solved algebraically. Collecting like terms was the first step in solving this problem. Add both sides by two x and then subtract both sides by six. Next step would be simplifying these terms. For the right side, fifteen plus six would be equal to twenty one. On the left side two x plus x is equal to three x. Lastly, dividing both sides by three will give you the value for x. :)
