HELP GIVING A MEDAL AND FAN Explain why individuals in a population have different observable traits.

Genetic variation.. Because of each individual's unique genes, they would each have distinctly different traits. I don't know how in depth you want me to go.. but basically through each person's family generations, certain traits were transferred through DNA to each member of the family for generations and generations.. each family has their own distinct traits, so each individual in the population would have their own unique trait.
