OpenStudy (pgxgirl103):

Could you help me simplify this? √ = square root symbol 6 √ 2 - 3 √ 2

OpenStudy (acxbox22):

do 6-3 and leave the square root of 2 there and you get 3 √2

OpenStudy (pgxgirl103):

so you just minus the two numbers and use whatever square root is there?

OpenStudy (acxbox22):

on one condition\THE NUMBER UNDER THE RADICAL MUST BE THE SAME if not then you can simplify the radical and if still not you leave it like that
