I'd say jobs and an uncertain economy are two of the biggest concerns of Americans today. 

It's been that way since the "Great Recession" that started back in 2007 though things are starting to show signs that they're looking up. Still, there are also a lot of jobs that just aren't coming back such as those in the manufacturing sector. A lot of companies offshore that to countries where labor is cheap which, unfortunately, means fewer jobs here.
