What is the slope of line a? -4 4 -1/4 1/4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Where is line a?

OpenStudy (mackenzie2013):

OpenStudy (mackenzie2013):

Please explain how to find the slope :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Its -1/4. If the link is tilting towards the right side, its a negative slope. And to find the slope, you have to do rise over run. Rise= 1 unit. Run=4 units. So slope= -1/4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sorry I meant Line not Link

OpenStudy (acxbox22):

do you mean rise is equal to -1 unit

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No rise= 1 unit. The line OVERALL has a negative slope.
