can someone help me with this Science Question it want's to know if it is balanced or not? HgO ----> Hg + O2

Well, you should have equal amounts of everything on both sides. So let's start out with Hg. You have 1 Hg on the left side and 1 on the right. Hg is good. Now you have O. You have 1 oxygen on the left, but two on the right. So now do you think it's balanced? :)
