A garden club is selecting a two-person fundraising committee. There are 10 males and 15 females in the club. If two members are randomly selected, what is the probability that both members will be female?

Miracrown (miracrown):

What do you think would be the probability?

Miracrown (miracrown):

If you're not sure then I can guide you through. So we can break this problem up into 2 steps so if there's 10 males and 15 females, we have 25 people total, right? and 15 of them are female can you figure out the chances of the first person picked being a female? one way to think of it is: Suppose you have 3 stones, 2 red one black, the chances of picking out a black stone is 1/3. So it's the same here, we have 25 people, 10 male, 15 female, so the chances of picking out a female is = ?
