Syntax is the arrangement of words and phrases to create well-formed sentences in a language. in other words the order of words to give them meaning. Example- I let her borrow my phone. If you change the syntax, it would be- The phone was borrowed by her.

Jerkiness is the quality of being spasmodic and irregular. spasmodic is occurring or done in brief, irregular bursts. Here, the author is speaking in slang, and randomly. So i would guess it is B. Hope it helped:)
