Main issue: moderates wanted to bring the south back into the union quickly
Radicals wanted severe punishment/limitations and restrictions on the southern states and their reentry into the union

If I was in Congress, I would have voted for something that gave slight punishment to the Southern States for receding, because in my view Rebelling against your country is wrong(its in the Bible). Especially for receding because you want to have slaves, that is ridiculous. So I would want some punishments, some hefty fines to reimburse the nation and maybe some restrictions set in place to stop receding in the future(for 5-10 years)
