Marco and his two younger sisters would like to purchase a silver charm bracelet for their mother’s birthday. They went to the mall and found what they were looking for at Store A. In Store A, the bracelet without charms costs $85 and each charm costs $15. What would be a reasonable domain for this function based on this scenario? Explain why this is a proper domain.

help plz ill give a medal :(

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

Hmm well the bracelet itself cost 85...that will be out constant... each charm (we dont now how many) will be an additional 15... so out equation we can make out of this is P(x) = 15x + 85 That is "price will equal however many charms they decide to buy at 15 dollars each... plus the 85 for the bracelet itself... Now it asks for a domain of this function.. Well...we don't know how much money they have..or how much they plan to spend...so our domain can be (0, infinity) That can be correct because they can either buy NO charms....or as many as they want depending on how much money they bring and want to spend
