OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok but how u did cross multiplication

OpenStudy (anonymous):

there is an = between two fractions

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats how my teacher put the problem on the paper

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok let me check

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ya sorry its my mistake we can cross multiply is and in the third step it became a quadratic equation so if we solve it we r getting x=5 and 3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so A is right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah, sheelo_mughal's on point. A is TRUE :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

because whenever u solve quadratic equation u must get two values of x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay

OpenStudy (anonymous):

even if u solve it using quadratic formulae u will get the same answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks for the medal @d3Xter

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you help me with another problem @sheelo_mughal

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ya ofcourse

OpenStudy (anonymous):

welcome, sheelo_mughal :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@sheelo_mughal

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2(x-2)=8 2x-4-4x=8 2x-4x-4=8 -2x-4=8

OpenStudy (anonymous):

C is the answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

because if u subtract 2x-4x u'll get -2x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Ambbiiee

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay thank you

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The only solution is x=5. x=3 is out of domain.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

did u understand it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

kind of im starting to get an understanding @sheelo_mughal

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok if u dont then can i explain u again

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i got a B- on that problem so i did something right (: @sheelo_mughal
