Really? Are you to include data for every European imperialist country and every Aftican and Asian nation they subjegated? Or just paint with a broad brush. Either way, the topic needs to be considered from both the European side and the side of the subjigated countries.
Check with the teacher on this. Your best way to approach this would be a case study of one Arican or Asian country and it's experience.
