A rectangle porch has an area of 73 2/3 ys^2 & a width of 6 1/2 yd a. Find the length of the porch in square feet. b. Find the length of the porch in feet. c. Find the perimeter of the porch in feet.

a. I think you must mean the length in yards for this one, since the length cannot be in square feet. If the width is 6 1/2 yards then the length in yards is 73 2/3 divided by 6 1/2. b. Multiply the answer you get in a by 3 to find the length in feet. c. To get the perimeter in feet just do (2 x length in feet) + (2 x width in feet). The width in feet is 6 1/2 x 3, which is 19 1/2 feet. And the length in feet is the answer from b.
