OpenStudy (bibby):

direct variations are usually formatted like: "y = kx" where k is some number. So we can immediately cancel C

sammixboo (sammixboo):

Yes

OpenStudy (bibby):

now if you look at the table in A, each row has a different formula. for example if x = 5, y = 25: y=5x but on the 3rd row y= 3x

OpenStudy (bibby):

Try and solve the direct variations in B. 3CDs for $27 5CDs for $45

sammixboo (sammixboo):

So it would be B, because on direct variation the formula is always the same, and in the table in A. case it isn't...

OpenStudy (bibby):

I'm not entirely postive that's the case, but I'm PRETTY sure. You can hold it against me if it's wrong

sammixboo (sammixboo):

Ok... Thanks Bib :D

sammixboo (sammixboo):

I will tell you if we got it or not.

OpenStudy (bibby):

the suspense is too much
