Help with 4 questions? Kind of confused :/ 1. sqrt(12) + 2^2 2. 10 - sqrt(18) 3. sqrt(15) - 1^2 4. sqrt(3) + 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sqrt(12) + 2^2 what is 2^2?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and what are the factors of 12?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well see, this is what I did. Since 12 doesn't have two numbers multiplied by its self I just squared it in a calculator and got 3.46 basically. Then I added 4 because 2^2 is 4. Then I got 7.46 Did I do that right or did I do it wrong?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you did the steps right, the only question I have is can the answer be in decimal form?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

like, your teacher wants it in decimal form?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well the answers are Between 7 and 8 Between 3 and 4 Between 5 and 6 and Between 2 and 3 so yeah they can be in decimal form. Just, I got between 7 and 8 more than once?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if it can be in decimal answer form, then I think you did that question correct and can probably figure out the rest with out my help ^_^ but if you need help, just ask

I figured it out, I just made a mistake on one question xD
