\[\log_{2}(x-5)=2-\log_{2}(x-2)\]
add log_2 (x-2) on both sides first
so then you can use the log property on left \(\log A +\log B = \log AB\)
would that give me \[\log_4(x^2-7)\] or \[\log_4(x-7)(x-5)\]
\(\log_{2}(x-5)=2-\log_{2}(x-2) \\ \log_2 (x-5) + \log _2 (x-2) = 2 \\ \large \log_2[(x-5)(x-2)] = 2\) got this step ?
