For the ordered pair, you can just use final - initial on each part. That is: The vector from (a,b) to (c,d) is (c-a,d-b) Once you have that vector, we can find the magnitude by applying the pythagorean theorem: \[|(a,b)| = \sqrt{a^2+b^2}\]
