What is wrong with this sentence : "The function doesn't require the user to point ON faces, it immediately recognize faces." ?

I was capitalizing ON because there is an error with it, I think I should change ON to TO and replace "," with ";" what do you think? "The function doesn't require the user to point to faces; it immediately recognizes faces."
