il explain it, extracellular digestion is when the digestion occures outside of the body, if you think saliva counts, it dosent, although food does start digesting while inside the mouth before swallowing, your mouth is still internal

intracellular is the exact opposite, the digestive organs reside inside of the body such as the mouth and stomach
