There is 5 boxes because if u have 48 and u r missing 2 crayons. There are 10 in each so if u have 30 crayons there will have 3 boxes then u had another box with 10 there is 40. So there is 4 boxes. Then u have 8 more crayons which is missing 2 but they are in a box. So u have 5 boxes full of crayons
