14 – (–8) 5 – (–10)
How and what the heck how do you get this???
14-(-8)=?
well would you do plus or minus so weould you say -8 and make it above? I got -22
-(-)= +
14 - (-8) = ------> Change the sign. Which would be a positve. So now you add. 22 5 -(-10. Same here-------> 15.
why cahge it to a positive?
ok so 15?
14 – (–8) 5 – (–10) A. –9 B. 1 C. 21 D. 37
its a rule that's correct
well nto really that is not an answer
so what do you think it is then?
Yes. 15 The reason why you change it to a positive is because your subtraction integer rules. Do you know those? Yes. that is not the answer. Your not done. You have to add 22+15?
so what u want to do? 22(15)
i got A
What is the difference? –4.16 – (–2.3) A. –6.46 B. –1.86 C. 1.86 D. 6.46
this one confuses me
You are NOT dealing with any negatives! You can rule those out. Stick with the first one first. You can rule those OUT automatically! 22+15??= final answer.
did u get ur answer horse?
yeah for teh other ones
it wsa A for the first one What abotu the 2nd one
I keep getting 2.14

@YanaSidlinskiy
can someone please help me
Do you have calculator handy? If so, type in -4.16+2.3. The reason you add because the integer rules for subtraction is if there are 2 negatives beside each other you make them positive.
ok cool thanks!
here is another question i am thinking it is positive A 13.3 + (–7)
