MEDAL!!! HELP ME ON A MY MATH QUESTION PLZ

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yup

OpenStudy (anonymous):

More info needed... XD

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Find the volume of the triangular prism, given b=16ft, h=12ftH=10ft

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i know what the b and h are but what is the H?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah i was wondering too

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Its say H=10ft

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok but the height is already given... now we need the side bases

OpenStudy (anonymous):

all I have for the quest. is what I typed sry

OpenStudy (chris911):

its 90 ft

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if only we had one of the angles, then we could figure them...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how did you get that chris?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Im sry ;{

OpenStudy (chris911):

Do you know the formula for the area of a triangle if so you can find the area, all you have to do is multiply it by the height to get the volume

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't have 90 chris911

OpenStudy (anonymous):

chris only one side of the triangle is given...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hypothesis: H = length then the result: 960

OpenStudy (chris911):

wait wats the multiply questions answers??

OpenStudy (chris911):

its 960

OpenStudy (chris911):

96 equals area of triangle muiltpy this by 10 u get 960

OpenStudy (chris911):

so b=16 and h=12 take half of 16 which is 8 multiply 8 by 12 u get 96 this is ur answer to area of a triangle then u multiply 96 times H=10 u get 960 :)
