I'm going to give an example of a self essay from my favorite anime character Naruto Uzumake. He would say something like.

"My name is Naruto Uzumake, I am 13 years old, and I am currently attending the Konoha Ninja Academy. I have a lot of likes and a lot of dislikes. One thing I like is Ramen. One thing I hate is waiting. My dream for the future is to become Hokage, and I will stop at nothing to achieve my dream."

That would be the introduction. SO I just gave you a pretty good idea of what to write and how to write about yourself.
