does the lenght of rod change in free fall in gravity?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

some events which happen at high velocities would lead up to length contraction from the point of the view of the person who sees the rod at rest. do you mean the special relativity?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no there is no relative motion

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so if only freely falling then? does it change?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so it doesn't change.

ohkk thnx
